Future Gardens has put together a specially formulated Ammonia treatment kit that is safe for fish and effective in lowering ammonia levels. High levels of ammonia is a common problem in Aquaponics and fish ponds when you either have too many fish, or your biological filter has not had time to establish yet. The kit contains a reusable Ammonia SOS bag consisting of microporous minerals and absorbents that when immersed into your fish tank will absorb ammonia over time.
The SOS bag can be recharged by placing the bag into the accompanying bucket filled with water mixed with reagent sachets 1 and 2. This process will kill off the ammonia absorbed by the SOS bag, making it ready for reuse.
